Collision Repair Frequently Asked Questions….
I just had an accident. What
should I do?
First, you may need to report
the accident to the police and then report the accident to your insurance
company. The insurance company will issue you a claim number and confirm your
deductible. Be sure to ask if you have rental car coverage and advise them that
you prefer Executive Collision Center to handle your repairs. Then, call us at
203-949-7420. We will answer any lingering questions you may have and
immediately get the repair process started.
For emergency towing, please
call our transport carrier at 203-265-1539.
·
How
long will my vehicle repairs take?
We
provide an estimated completion date after inspecting the vehicle, but there
are many factors that need to be considered. For example:
·
How
extensive is the damage?
·
How
quickly can we expedite any hard-to-get parts?
·
Are there
hidden damages found at tear down that we need to work with your insurance
company on?
·
Is yours a
specialty vehicle?
We
understand that you want, indeed need your vehicle back as soon as possible and
we will work hard to accommodate that. Keep in mind that the longer we keep
your vehicle the more it costs us in terms of valuable storage and facility
repair space so we too want to get your vehicle back to you as soon as
possible.
·
Will my
vehicle be like new again?
We are confident that we can repair your vehicle to its pre-collision condition. Bear in mind however, that even when some vehicles are brand new there can be some factory imperfections, damage from shipping that was repaired at the port, or perhaps even damage at your dealership. While we will return your vehicle to you as fully repaired as possible, please remember that no matter how well a repair is done, it is still considered a repair.

Who
pays for the repairs, supplements, deductible and is there a deposit required?
